Creating new theme

i am in the process of creating a new theme, i downloaded one off of here to use as a template, i used photoshop to change the sizes of my pictures and such, however i tried to ssh the theme over and the apps that i changed the picture on will not show a picture and the wallpaper will not show up, all i did was change the size of my picture to match the one in the the downloaded theme and saved it as a .png file in the theme folder

it wont show my changes
