Carrier icon - disappeared

I changed my carrier text to something custom. Using SBsettings. Previously i had the o2 icon which was installed through winterboard. I then wanted to change the custom text back to a icon. but now nothing appears. All that shows is the signal bars and the 3G symbol. I cant even put the o2 icon i had on before back on.

I have tried clearing the custom text first and then changing the icon through Winterboard. Totally confused.

any ideas?
