Hello everyone...

I am trying to change the carrier logo on my canadian iphone with 2.2.1. This SIM & Phone are for the rogers network.

The have the phone jailbroken, and OpenSSH installed. I have connected to the phone via winSCP.

Problem is finding the directory that the PNG files are stored in.

According to this post: http://www.modmyi.com/forums/file-mo...omization.html - the directory should be:

System/Library/Carrier Bundles

the folder 'system' does not exist on my phone, so it was a no-go... so then I found this post:

Here this person says they found the files in this directory:

/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles

So I went here, and volla... I found the files to replace. The problem is, now the second time I want to go in and change them... that folder is missing!! WTF??

here is a screen-shot of the directory... as you can see, its not there. There is a shortcut listed at the bottom to what appears to be a carrier bundle thing, but it does not work.

HELP??
