Default Is there any .artwork keyboards?

I figured the .artwork keyboard files would be a little quicker than the standard Winterboard-ran keyboard files. Is there any truth to this, or?

Well, yes they "could" be...since you are overwriting the system keyboard files, instead of using winterboard which does eat up some memory. However, if your using Winterboard at all....then it really wont make a difference.

There are a few .artwork files around for the later firmwares....but I havent seen many since winterboard will theme the keyboard....its alot easier to create a keyboard that will work in winterboard....then having to compile a .artwork file.

Could you possibly lead me to a few of them that were made for the later firmwares?

And last time I had my phone jailbroken, I think I had about 3 or 4 things activated in Winterboard, this time around I have everything in 1 folder and I'm not really noticing a bothering difference between themed up/stock phone. One thing that's bothering me though is Cydia is taking forever to boot up, I think that may have something to do with my router though. Because lately I'll download an email attachment and it'll download almost as slow as Edge does, when usually it skips by at 100+kbps, and I'm also rarely able to connect to the App stores Updates tab which is unusual.

Actually this also leads me to another lengthy question which isn't iPhone related. Alright I'm under Time Warner's Road Runner internet service, and I just upgraded to it's highest speed/turbo, before I was on the step before it. Well ever since I upgraded to it my downloads are like half/3/4 times slower than what it was before, before I'd download a file at about 450+kbps, now I'm peaking at like 150-180, which doesn't make any sense to me. Also pictures, lets say on a myspace page, I'll click to view a picture and a picture will load down like a scroll instead of just popping right up. But when I do a speedtest this shows different, I'll get on average 20,000kbps down/1900 up, when before the upgrade I'd get like 4,000 down/600-700 up. I thought it might be the router but I directly connected my modem to the computer and there was no difference.

I honestly couldnt tell you exactly where to look for .artwork files cause I dont use em. I have seen a few in our downloads section.

Cydia runs that way for everyone....its a bug in the current version and hopefully will get updated soon.

As for your transfer rate with the new service....I would be calling the service provider and asking them why the speeds are slower now, since you upgraded. Cause thats pretty bad.

I'll look around then I guess.

Alright cool, I thought it was just mine being a little buggy, because I remember on the last version it booted up a lot quicker than it does now.

Yeah I called them before [then my phone died 2 hours in, haha] and they're saying I'm getting normal speeds, and that there's just a lot of bandwidth being used at the time which I know is bs because it's the same at all times throughout the day/night, and they said that from the speed test I'm getting amazing speeds, morons. Can a virus of some sort, slow down your internet download speeds?

I have the .artwork keyboard for the perfect storm theme. and for those of you who dont know where to look its in /system/library/frameworks/uikit.framework/ and you will need to modify keyboard-common.artwork and keyboard-latin.artwork.
