Creating Winterboard Themes

I need help.

Can someone tell me how can I create Winterboard theme of my own?

Is there a software for it available?

And can it be done on a PC?

Thanks for all of the help and I apologize in advance if there is a post about this already open.

A theme is just a collection of image files (which can be created using something like Photoshop).

All you do to make it winterboard compatible is place the right image files into the right folders. Thats it. No software needed.

If you don't want to make your own images and would rather take bits and pieces from themes available on cidia or even on this site it's a pretty easy process. Make a folder on your desktop called ___ Theme. The easiest approach is to install whatever theme(s) you want on cydia and then SSH into your phone. Go to Library/Themes and you will see all the themes youve downloaded. Take whatever files you want from them and drag into the theme folder on your desktop. Make sure you have all the subfolders you need in there ex, Bundles, Icons, UIImages, etc. Make sure you put the files into the correct folders or nothing will work. Once you have all the desired files, move the ___ Theme folder into the Library/Themes. After your theme is complete, uninstall the individual themes from cydia to keep your phone snappy and quick. Good luck!
