Installing Winterboard themes Help
Hey Guys, didnt know where to post this so i thought here is the best. i read the previous threads but none helped

ok so im using iPhoneBrowser and i downloaded the SvR theme from this website and i dragged and dropped it into the root/library/themes folder and when i go to winterboard only half the theme comes up. no background and only few icons and no dock. similar thing is happening with the AlienWare theme. i also tried using DiskAid but same problem
can someone help me out please.
i have a 2.2 firmware jailbroken Iphone 2G - 8GB. am doing all this on Vista home premium.
SvR link - Apple Forums | ModMyi.com | iPhone, iPod, Mac, OS X, Mods, More - Downloads - Sv3 WinterBoard theme
AlienWare link - Apple Forums | ModMyi.com | iPhone, iPod, Mac, OS X, Mods, More - Downloads - AlienWare XenoMorph 2.1
thanks in advance !Last edited by dhruv44; 01-05-2009 at 08:30 AM.

1st you are placing it in the wrong folder. go to var/stash/Themes. you'll find all the installed/downloaded themes in that folder. after that do the ff:
1)unzip the SvR & Alienware to ur desktop.
2)then rename the folder to SvR.theme & Alienware.theme
3)ssh into ur iphone & drop the folders inside var/stash/Themes
4)open winterboard (if installed) if not download from cydia
****if winterboard is not installed, you wont find the Themes folder (probably)
5)check either SvR or Alienware
6)then drag it on top of the lists
7)exit winterboard
