remove blanks from springboard?

If youre talking about the blanks that come back after you delete them time after time, it has something to do with a webclips folder. I freaked out and deleted the whole thing in SSH and that fixed it. They're located in /var/mobile/Library/WebClips

what is that foldwr actually used for. I have been having the same problem and i hward it was because of certain themes automatically do it.

how do you do this?

if you have installed blank app icon thru cydia then delete it thru cydia. but if you dont have it in cydia I suggest you manually delete it by sshing into ur iphone and delete the webclip(s) folder in this location var/mobile/webclips.

now your done.

why would you need to delete it... you cant have themes?

and download SPSettings
and Click FIX BLANKS

I need to get rid of all the blanks that were left on there from my restore.

My phone was jailbroken on 2.2 and then I backed everything up and upgraded to 3.0, when it synced back I still have blanks that won't go away when I delete them...
