    Default Without Winterboard..

Well ive noticed that with winterboard installed on my phone. The phones runs slower, period. I can change just about anything without using winterboard. But theres a few things i cant figure out. I cant find the file for the color behind the clock. And i cant seem to find the files for the pop up alerts. Pretty much im having a hard time with the UI files. Ive looked in all the system files and cant find those 2. Thanks in advance..

Winterboard uses a tiny bit of RAM but does not have a daemon running that eats up CPU cycles. The winterboard app in itself does not slow down the phone. What slows down your phone would be animated themes.

That's not entirely true. My phone shows an extra 10MB of memory used in springboard with winterboard installed and no themes running. There is something in winterboard that uses a lot of memory.

Well do you know how i could change those files without winterboard? I dont really care for icons and stuff like that. I just want to do some minor tweaks.

UIPopupAlertSheetBackground.png is for the alert image, just place inside UIImages folder.

The other I cant think of off the top of my head.

    It's in the Other.artwork file in root/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework
You need iPhoneShop to import the image into the Other.artwork file.
