Very Cool tutorial! This could come in handy later!
But, Just an fyi. You CANNOT brick it... you can make it so you cant get in... but not brick it. a simple restore will fix it.

Sorry in advance, as i'm sure there's another forum covering this. But, how to I hide the taskbar ONLY from the lockscreen. While keeping the lockclock, date etc?
Cheers

i know this is kind of old, but, is there any way we can remove the status bar(the bar with signal and time) too from LOCK SCREEN.
Thanks,

Create a transparent PNG that's 10 pixels wide by 40 tall, and save it to your computer as Translucent_Base.png
If you're using the non-winterboard method you want to place it into /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app.
For the WinterBoard version, create the same file except 5x20 pixels, and place it in yourtheme/UIImages.

You can probably remove the carrier logo/ name with Makitmine on Cydia, and the battery icons you can make transparent -- i'm not sure how to remove the little clock, but I remember seeing a program that could do it (maybe it was Makitmine again?)Last edited by Jahooba; 11-18-2010 at 06:47 PM.
