Cydia sms themes

I have downloaded different sms themes from Cydia to winterboard. I have checked which ones I want but they don't come up on my phone. I have used a Christmas theme and it worked. Any advise?:

Try moving the sms theme to the top of the list in winterboard

Try rebooting the phone after the theme is applied.

No that didn't work either. I just tried checking my silent nite theme and it worked. I can get theme pkgs to work but nothing changes on mysms. At one time I had a xmas theme on mysms.

Oh, you didnt say it was mysys....I thought you were talking about the default sms app.

I usually have to SSH the images into something like mysms or irealsms. Just override the originals.

And make sure the sms themes your downloading are for mysms and not the stock sms app, cause most of them are for the stock app.

How would I know if they are for mysms and not the stock?

^If its for mysms it will say in the description, otherwise its for the stock sms app.

In fact, im not sure ive even seen any for mysms really.

Thank you! I did get one of the Christmas themes to work on mysms but that was the only one.

Ok i am having this problem as well. Do i need to intstall a app for the themes to work, cause it says i can change the color in the text app but dont c that app. Any help would be great thanks

if you are on 3.0 then you need to either wait for that theme to be updated or change the theme manually because apple changed where the sms stuff is so all the sms themes will not work if they have the old directory still

How do you change the theme manually? I have been looking to try and figure that out, but no luck.
