My ND Theme
I created an ND theme for my own personal use a few months ago. I think it is a little cleaner than the other one on here, BUT I will state it is a non-complete theme.
If anyone could tell me how to submit it for sharing on Cydia or the likes, I would be glad to do that.
Send me an email. You can send it to my hotmail account which is my user name (NDBounce) at hotmail.
Peace,

Here are some screenshots. I am an amateur just dabbling around. Just yesterday I learned of the concept of invisible icons, which may be promising for the future. In the mean time, I left the icons alone on my screen (and have the Dome faded in the background. Again, this was not designed as a theme for the public per se, but based on my personal use/fun. I am willing to share it with people though.

Very nice, NDBounce. Blank icons are fun, aren't they

We should work together to make a more complete them. I was messing around with making a dialer, but I don't think I will have time to complete it before I release my first update for my Notre Dame theme.
I really like the Faded dome, and the carrier is also really nice. What I don't like about it is how it looks when the Statusbar is black...I personally would add to my Info.plist, and make it so only the white statusbar shows.
As far as sharing, like I said we should work together on one theme, but if you would like to release it to the public, you have three options- Rapidshare, The Download Section, and via Repos. I know of two Repos that do public hosting; here on MMi as well as iSpazio. For MMi, the download section is above, next to Forums. As far as hosting it on Cydia, look to the left. A little button with 'Host your app/theme on Cydia'. Click on that.
I also am emailing you. If we work together we can make a more complete theme faster. Just my input however
My update for tonight includes cleaner buttons, a new (different) battery, as well as an additional wallpaper that will cycle (total of three). No one has sent me Icon requests, so I'm perfecting the Premade icons then will use the templates to add.

Teamwork is good. Actually I made a change to the dialer app. This thread got me in the mood to do some re-creations. I don't know if this is better or worse, but I switched my dialer to this:

But I have the older version as well...time (and other opinions) I guess will tell which is better. I was just in a mood to play, and this is what I came up with.
Peace,

lol NDBounce we need to pick a way to communicate.
I personally would say combine the two dialers. I liked the gradient background of the first, but prefer the colors of the second. Why not a gradient of Blue and Gold?
EDIT- and I'm not quite sure about the Bevealing and Emboss. I dunno yet, I just noticed it.Last edited by agent005; 01-03-2009 at 12:46 PM.

Hey all back again...
Took a little longer, but hey what do you expect.
Notre Dame theme 1.1 will be released tonight. I took some of ND Bounce's work (with permission of course) and will be giving him credit as well. I also like to use other people's themes as a way for me to learn the file names I need to edit. Beats searching through all the root folders as I have slowly been doing
I am also understanding more about the way WinterBoard works. I did research before I started themeing, but am now grasping more and more with each theme I come across.
Stay tuned. Next update is ALL icons. I promise.iPhone 4- I'll start theming again

I did submit the 1.1 Theme last night to Cydia, but I also found some major last minute problems. The problems mostly consist of problems with the main wallpaper, however I'm testing now and it seems to be working now that I changed the code.
The updates include-
-Better themed statusbar (I did away with the 'Irish' bars, replaced with simple gold ones. Also, changed 3g and Edge Icons.
-Sliders were slightly modified, I don't remember how. The power down slider was changed I know for a fact.
-Customized the little square that comes up when silencing/ unmuting phone (watch the screen, flip it, you'll see it)
-Changed the lock screen charging battery; it is now a picture of the Four Horsemen (I can't provide screen shots, just charge your phone and you'll see it)
-I also changed some images. I made the lockscreen a little darker of a gold, and changed the pinstripe you see in settings, etc.
-Editing the Dialer, Notes, Stocks, and Weather application
-Some colors were change to reflect the Blue/Gold colors a little more.
Update 1.1.1 will be submitted tonight.
Next update will include extras to make your theme a little more you. For example, more slider options, colors, etc.iPhone 4- I'll start theming again

Version 1.1 is now available in Cydia. Check it out!
Next update will theme even more, with my focus being icons. I have a solution to the problem regarding my inability to be creative with them, and since copying them from other themes is a painstakingly long process, I'm going to do the following-
1) Create icons for the main apps (Phone, iPod, Winterboard, Cydia, things that basically all stock iPhones have)
2) Create a semi-transparent icon that can be used for EVERY application. For example, say you want an Icon for Shazam- all you'd need to do is copy the Icon.png I'll include, paste in that same directory, and rename it 'Shazam'.
3) I will slowly create more and more real icons
4) Attempt to recruit people to help me make Icons (I lack in that time, just look at the amount of themes I'm working on)
5) Take a break after my next update to focus on my personal theme (I hope to break the mold of traditional themes in a VERY unique way...for my use only =])iPhone 4- I'll start theming again
