Okay, I've put up with this crap long enough. Currently running iRealSMS 2.x and I need some help. I've managed to change the bacground and the bubbles but I have no idea how to change the keyboard and the click sounds. Any input would be greatly appriciated!

if you have winterboard installed irealsms should use those image files for the keyboard and the click at least it does on my phone.

Finally getting around to applying themed changes irealsms, winter board dosent change anything on my cracked version of irealsms. I use the Storm clicks and the Chromium keyboard and neither one changes irealsms. Sux

i was able to change the send and receive tones, background and bubbles. Haven't been able to get rid of the default blue at the top of screen, or the default keyboard - yet. Still poking around to find the correlated link between iRealSMS and the default SMS.

Winterboard doesn't theme irealsms. I have managed to change the bubbles and tbackground but the keyboard remains stock.

Has anyone tried changing the keyboard artwork directly, that should work (Keyboard-Latin)?

Just created a keyboard artwork from aquoah's winterboard keyboard and it works greatly in irealsms.

Give me a step by step to follow to change the keyboard...

First of all you need iPhoneShop 1.22.4 and Latest Java installed (java.com: Java + You)
1) Extract everything in the rar file including all folders into a newly created folder named iPhoneShop.
Winrar of File iPhoneShop 1.22.4.rar:

2) You will have the following Structure in the folder iPhoneShop:
Folders
Other
KeyLatin
KeyCommon
KeyJap
KeyEmoji
KeyKo
KeyRu
KeyZh
KeyJa
KeyUk
Mobile
Files
iPhoneShop-1.22.4.jar
Export.bat
Import.bat

New Folder iPhoneShop Created:


3)ssh into your iPhone or ipod touch and go to root/Library/Themes





4) then select the folder that contains the keyboard theme and copy it to your computer.



5) Also go to root/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework



6) copy the files Keyboard-Common.artwork and Keyboard-Latin.artwork into the folder iPhoneShop.




7) Back on the computer, open the copied folder (With the keyboard theme) , again open the folder "UIImages"



8) Select and copy all the contents in it(png image files), then paste the contents into the folders KeyLatin and KeyCommon in iPhoneshop.



Paste the copied files in the folders KeyLatin and KeyCommon


9) Execute the import.bat file (this will import all those png images into the relative artwork files)




10) Copy the new artwork files created (You will find the new Keyboard-Common.artwork in the folder iPhoneShop/KeyCommon and the new Keyboard-Latin.artwork in iPhoneShop/KeyLatin) back into the iPhone or iPod Touch (ssh) in root/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/




11) Restart your device and enjoy!!!

Yeah, I would like to see screenies of the themed app. Aslo can anyone verify success using a mac? I will cry if not...

Yes, it does work on a Mac. For all those who want to do this themselves, I can tell you that it won't work 100% with the Aqwoah keyboard from the WB theme. In particular, the Shift key in Landscape mode has an ugly white border. If you want a perfect Aqwoah keyboard artwork file, you will have to email me.
