Stupid ? I know. but help

I dont know how to add everyones themes. I just jailbroke my phone with 2.2 using quickpwn about 10 minutes ago. Id like to change my them but dont know how. Thanks

Hey, we were all "stupid" once when we 1st got our iPhones!

You need to get Winterboard from Cydia. Then go back to Cydia and download your chosen themes. Return to Winterboard and then "tick" your chosen theme. Hope that helps.

Stupid would be not to ask. Asking is how you will learn. Like the above post said, just download winterboard, let the phone respring itself, and than open cydia again and start downloading themese. However, keep in mind that themes including widgets, video or changing wallpapers, etc, may have the potential of slowing down your device and sucking up your battery. Be wise when choosing themes.

How to SFTP Winterboard themes

1. install OpenSSH
(from list of apps available from Cydia)

2. install winterboard
(from list of apps available from Cydia)

3. Get a SFTP program to SSH to your iphone from your computer
(MAC FuGu--Wiki Guide / PC WinSCP--Wiki Guide)

4. SFTP settings: Server will be your IP address of your iphone, User = root, password = dottie or alpine.
(get your iphones IP address from Settings->Wifi->click the arrow next to the wifi network you are connected to. you'll then see your IP address)

5. Winterboard themes go in /Library/Themes/ , this is the directory you'll place your themes. each theme should have it's own folder.

I cant find winscp or wiki. I installed the other programs but cant find them. I need them to put roms on my iphone as well.
