Winterboard HTML transparency problem

Hey, so i noticed this problem recently. like it wasnt there before..

so i wanna put an HTML clock in my springboard.
the "Wallpaper.html" file only has a clock in it, and i set the BGcolor to "transparent." It the refers the the "Wallpaper.png" file for the background.
however, i set the "Wallpaper.png" file to be transparent so i can see my userwallpaper underneath.

The problem is that the supposedly transparent wallpaper now becomes black on the springboard but the HTML clock works fine.

can anyone explain how to get the HTML aspect to display JUST the clock, and allow the userwallpaper to be visable?

thanks

ps i have the most updated version of winterboard and FW 2.1

Yeah I just dont think it will work that way.

You can try moving your "user wallpaper" option under or above (try both) which will change priorities for each...may help.

But most likely your just have to point the html file directly to the background you actually wanna use.

alright thanks.
but yeah i swear this worked. I made the android simplistic theme a while back and i made the wallpaper.png file transparent except for a box to house the html clock. my user background was perfectly visible.

maybe its just the update

but thanks anyways

You DONT need to point the html page to your background you want, thank god, that would be a pain in the ***.

So the way i have my clock working is not to write anything.
If you don't put anything in for background color it automatically makes it transparent :P

If that doesn't make sense look at this example I've uploaded.
