I am new to iphones and have just jailbroken my 3G with Quickpwn and firmware 2.2

I may be being really stupid and missing something really obvious but after playing with Customize for a while and then realising that it isnt going to work for me as it wont boot, i am trying to find Summerboard.

Its like trying to find white dog ****!!! Where the **EDIT CPJR - NO PROFANITY** is it??? Do i need to add a new source to find it???

Summerboard isnt used anymore, unless your using a old FW version.

You need "Winterboad"....which is on Cydia.

but that doesnt seem to have full customisation options in the same way as summerboard or customize... any other options

Winterboard is way better than Summerboard ever was....ya just gotta learn how to use it. You can pretty much theme anything through it.

And as for anything else, not really...until a newer version of customize comes out.....which I have never used personally...anything that Winterboard cant do, I do manually by SSHing into the phone.

actually customize has been completely abandoned by the owner and the servers for it are no longer running. if your looking to more look at themes and stuff before you apply them download winterboard and wbapp too. that may help but winterboard is HELLA powerful and WAY better than summerboard and customize combined

I remember the old days of summerboard. However, after having winterboard, summerboard is like going back into the 60s. Winterboard is more powerful and you can customize almost everything within the iPhone. There are many guides (Google) on how to use winterboard. Google has become a close friend of mine.
