any suggestions plz? The only thing I can think of that I did to mess it up was uninstall the WB Font Pack cuz I wasn't using it. All other Font works everywhere else but dock.

ok I changed themes and it's fine so it must have been the theme I was using, any idea what to mod to fix it? I applied transparent dock and it did it's job got rid of the dock but still no text

Hopefully you can access the theme's root folder through SSH.

In the folder find the file 'Info.plist' and open it using notepad/wordpad and edit the following line;

<key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
<string>color: transparent;</string>

changing the color value to 'white'
