How do you do this, and can it be done WITHOUT Customize or iPhoneBrowser?

Maybe like thru SSH or something?

Those progs aren't working for me, and I'm not getting any answers from any of the posts I made here or elsewhere on why they don't.

p.s.
I have a 2.1 iPhone 3G with Customize 2.1 and iPhone Browser 1.5.2
(iPhonebrowser opens fine if I don't have my phone connected. It's just when it's connected, or I connect after I open it that it crashes. Customize says "Files Not found, and acts like I'm not connected to the net, which I am via wifi.)
So... I dunno... really hard installing stuff.

you can do that with winterboard its more easy,,, just download the slider (for winterboard) and choose it.

Where... with what... in what?
On my phone, on my PC?

I have one that I downloaded from this website to my PC and want to get onto my phone.

How do I get it there, and with what program, and put it where on my phone, etc.?

If you mean download it thru Cydia or Installer... so far I've only came acroos but so many repositories that work in them, with just so much stuff available and been thru that lot of themes, etc.
That's why I downloaded it from another website onto my PC.

So please clarify... I don't understand...

you download winterboard from cydia ok

in cydia you can download sliders too,, then go winterboard and choose it.

or if you download em from a web in your pc you can connect to your iphone for iphonebrowser or winscp and goto var/stash/themes and there you put the sliders,, now go to winterboard and choose it

easy no!

be sure the sliders are for use with winterboard

that's the info that I wanted...thanks.
Because the slidrs in Cydia suck. And so I downloaded a few from this site.
And I can't get iphonebrowser to work.
It keeps crashoing as soon as I hook uo my phone.
Customize sucks to... that keeps crashing 3 seconds after opening.
A LOT of these hacked programs just don't work for me.

(all worthless for me and don't work)

I use WinSCP... but never heard of or tried Diskaid...
Is it good?
Can you see your phone files and transfer files to phone with it?

Where can I get it?

I use iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7b. It lets you ssh into your phone. Go to youtube and do a search for it to see how to set it up.

yeah its good i use it just for transfer videos and songs into dtunes Cause its very fast

I hate the fact that I had to connect via WIFI.
I have it at the present, but may not in the furure... so these programs will come in handy.
