I just updated to 2.2 LogoME would not download the "needed packages" so I just unpacked the quickpwn exe file onto the desktop, replaced the logo.png file in the data folder and ran the unzipped version to jailbreak. Worked like a dream with no effort at all. However it doesnt help after jailbreak.

I have never used LogoMe because I was happy with my logo pictures. However, I kind of screwed up. I ran QuickPwn for the first time (for my previous pwned firmwares I had always used Pwnage tool) and when it asked whether I wanted to keep the logo pictures on my iPhone I said yes, because those were the ones I prepared in my previous custom firmwares. But clearly what QuickPwn should ask is whether you want to keep the official pictures, because after running QuickPwn I realized it did not keep the ones I had on my iPhone. My question is: can you use LogoMe (assuming it'll work with 2.2) to select pictures from your computer rather than the Web?

yes it needs to be done before jailbreaking you need to mod the files in quickpwn before running. just change the recovery.png and logo.png to your custom logo (under 100 k) found in the data folder after un packaging. Make sure your file are named exactly the same. Then run the exe file within the unzipped package.

I actually had already modified QuickPwn with my own pictures. What threw me off is the question: it asked whether I wanted to keep the ones on my iPhone, and the ones on my iPhone were already modified by my previous pwned firmwares, so I said yes. But clearly you always have to say no, no matter what's already on your iPhone.
At any rate, is there any way of changing the boot and recovery logos without re-running QuickPwn or Pwnage Tool?iPhone 2G Pwned 3.1.2

I just used Quickpwn today to change the boot logos on my already pwned 2.2 3G. I unchecked Cydia and Installer since I don;t want Installer and already had Cydia installed. I DID check off Boot Logos and it replaced the logos no problem.
I used Quickpwn on my Windows laptop because i wasnt sure how to extract the folders from the mac Quickpwn.app. Like the earlier post said, all you need to do is use WinRAR to extract the files from Quickpwn.exe. Then replace the logos in the Data folder with your own logos. Then execute Quickpwn using the quickpwn.exe file in the extracted folder.
If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.

I guess you really are lucky steve, but if logome thinks youre on 2.1 and patches your 2.2 fw with 2.1 fw it may corrupt it, right? Unless there the same thing and its just that logome doesn't recognize the 2.2 fw yet.

Cannot get this program to work on 2.2. Initial files will not download and just sits there. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice ans still the same results. It still says 1.0.3 even though it's supposed to be 1.0.4. How do you get 1.0.4?? Any ideas what is wrong? Help!!
