Installation Instructions

LogoMe is hosted by BigBoss and is available from a default installation of Cydia.

Usage Instructions
------------------

1. Connect to the Internet with your device (Wi-Fi or 3G or EDGE).

2. Open LogoMe.

3. Wait for some files to download (this only has to happen once).

4. Type in the URL of the boot logo you want on the second tab (for now, it has to be accessible on the web somewhere).

5. Optionally push the Preview button on the third tab (to see what it will look like before installing).

6. Push the Install Logo button on the third tab.

7. Restart your device.

Notes
----

If you have an iPod touch, there were problems with the beta releases that disabled your Home and Power buttons. These buttons can be re-enabled if you download and install 1.0.3 AND flash any logo with it.

I was able to install it, download anumber of png's but no preview and install button is not enabled.

Any suggestions?

I installed this from cydia... followed all instructions on how to download boot logo ...i used bklyn java's boot logo and i got a message file to big, u hit continue and now i have a blank screen when i reboot the phone...It boots up fine but no logo at all.

any ideas???

Try again, this time checking that the logo shows up in Preview before flashing. I'm sure I don't have to say this, but don't interrupt it when it's flashing (that's the only thing that could cause your symptoms provided your logo showed up in Preview).

I also used the program and its directions exactly as it said to, everything went smooth until i turned my iphone off, once i tried to turn back on, nothing happens, its completely black screen and nothing happends , just stays on off, itunes is telling me my device is in recovery mode and must restore...im trying to avoid doing this, can anyone give some suggestions, please emai me at bige2333@aol.com thank you

Somehow my new logo (small retro apple) shows up way higher that default apple logo. Like, in the upper third of the screen. Anyone had this?

Thanks for your input.....tried a different file....tried uninstalling and reinstalling app ...still no go....i don't even get a preview of the logo now...HELP....I really want to use this app

Glad you like it.

Try changing the permissions to 777 recursively and then reboot.

Then go back and change the settings back to 755 recursive and reboot again.

That has worked for some.

I tried it... no matter what image i use, app still says that it is too big...and preview screen is still black..... I don't know what to do at this point.
