got mine to work, maybe I went through too much but I wanted a specific picture.
1) found the pic I wanted through google images.
2) saved it to my desktop as a jpg
3) created a free website and uploaded the picture
4) edited pic and made the size 320 x 480
5) went to my new site, right clicked on it....copied the 139 character url
6) went to TinyURL.com - shorten that long URL into a Tiny URL and converted it to a smaller url
7) used logome on iphone and typed in new smaller url
8) it warned me that it may be too big...checked preview and looked good
9) installed and reboot
looks awesome
hope this can help someone

I had previously down loaded the program but deleted it when I read the warning that it should not be loaded and run on 2.1,
Looks like it had been updated.
Now I am a noob at all this and when I tried to redown load it I had a filesize mismatch.
i downloaded Diskaid and looked in the root folder and found the Logome entry and renamed it then rebooted.
I will try to download it again later. Any suggestions are more than welcomed.
Will come back later and let you know if it works
thanks
scott
Post reboot.
No change so I deleted the entry Logome in the root > Apps
When I hit download
Statistics
Downlaoding 317.4kB
Resuming At 57.0B
Disk using 0.0B
Then when I hit confirm to start the download I receive
Source error size mismatch
I kept at it and tried reloading the cydia installer.
The installer reinstalled no issues.
Then restarted cydia
located LOGO ME clicked install
Still had the following
>Statistics
>Downlaoding 317.4kB
>Resuming At 57.0B
>Disk using 0.0B
Installed no problemsLast edited by bruinsrme; 10-20-2008 at 07:57 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Somehow my new logo (small retro apple) shows up way higher that default apple logo. Like, in the upper third of the screen. Anyone had this?
