Hi there,

I am new to this thing and I was wondering how to go about in install a theme into my iphone.

The only way that I know that can allow you to install a theme is through Cydia and you then use the Winterboad to apply the theme.

I downloaded a theme into my pc just now but I have no idea in putting it into my phone.

Can someone tell me how to do?

You need to get Open SSH on your phone, thats located inside Cydia, then get WinSCP for your pc (Do a search) and there you go you have full access to your iPhone files, if you need more advanced info let me know hope this helps!

How to SFTP Winterboard themes 2.0

1. install OpenSSH
(from list of apps available from Cydia)

2. install winterboard
(from list of apps available from Cydia)

3. Get a SFTP program to SSH to your iphone from your computer
(MAC FuGu--Wiki Guide / PC WinSCP--Wiki Guide)

4. SFTP settings: Server will be your IP address of your iphone, User = root, password = dottie or alpine.
(get your iphones IP address from Settings->Wifi->click the arrow next to the wifi network you are connected to. you'll then see your IP address)

5. Winterboard themes go in /Library/Themes/ , this is the directory you'll place your themes. each theme should have it's own folder.

If you are having trouble using SSH i would recommend using iFunBox

Plug your phone into your computer, open up iFunBox and away you go. Access to your iphone file system.

ok i finally was able to ssh into my phone but there is no themes folder? (yes i do have winterboard installed) so i just made one but the theme i loaded doesnt show up under winterboard ? any suggestions ?
EDIT : nevermind i started to browse trough my files and found the folder thz for the help

hay if you r using open ssh on u r computer depending on a mac or a pc there will be folder called private in that folder there s folder called stash in that folder you will find a themes folder put all the converted themers in to that folder do not put win rar files make shure it s the proper file then you should be able to find the theme in winterboard , this worked on my pc i dont know about mac

and i recomand if you dont know what you doin don t fiddle around with the phone because i stuffed up mine then got it fixed
