HTML Lockscreen Wallpaper Always on Top Problem
Hello I searched, but I couldn't find anything regarding this issue.
I am using a Wallpaper Rotation theme called Wallpaper Rotation Tod.theme. This theme rotates your wallpaper based on what time of day it is.
It replaces your lock screen with a LockBackground.html file so that you have the same wallpaper on your home screen and lock screen and it rotates both.
The problem with the lock screen is that it seems to put itself on top of other backgrounds. For example if you have LockBackground.html set as your lock screen and some one calls you and you have a caller id picture set, it won't show the caller id picture while the phone is ringing. You see the caller id picture for a split second and then the LockBackground imposes itself on top of it. You also can't see the charging battery on the lock screen when you have your phone plugged in and locked, all you see is the wallpaper.
Is there anyway to get this to not be "always on top"?
I have attached the zip file to this post containing the theme. If someone knows how to edit LockBackground.html so it doesn't do this I would appreciate it!
In case you don't know, to test this wallpaper changer just SSH the Wallpaper Rotation ToD.theme folder into '/private/var/stash/Themes' and apply it using Winterboard.
Thanks in advance.

Winterboard works in "layers"...basically the way you have items listed inside Winterboard is like a "food chain".
To fix the battery, you can apply a battery theme (even using the stock battery images) and have it set above your wallpaper theme in Winterboard. As for the contacts, I am not sure.

Thanks for your reply,
I have tried that. I downloaded a custom battery and set the priority higher than the wallpaper changer in Winterboard. It still puts itself on top of the battery. I have spoken to the developer and he said he is looking into the problem, but that was about a week and a half ago. I'm starting to think that it is an issue with using HTML as your lockscreen wallpaper. If you have tried the KoiFish Lockscreen (an animated html lock screen) that is available on cydia it also exhibits the same problem. I'm just hoping someone with extensive knowledge knows a workaround.

Yeah from everything that I have read...there is no way to stop this, its not the html file because the only properties in it are for the rotation of the wallpapers themselves (I checked yours). You can delete the file completely from your them, but then the wallpapers wont cycle on the lockscreen at all.

I know this thread is kind of old, but I was wondering if there is a workaround for this? Thanks in advance!

Same here. There must be SOMETHING we can do.
If I use a LockBackground.png in my theme, that image displays whenever I receive a call, but I can see my battery when charging. If I use a LockBackGround.html to set my lockscreen wallpaper, I no longer see that image when I receive a call, but the battery is hidden.
Any ideas?

Sorry for the bump, but I've been looking for a way to do this as well for way too long. Does anyone know how to do this? Or is it a winterboard problem?
