Text Theme?

I was looking around yesterday trying figure out a way to change the Text backround. I changed a few files, but nothing happened..? Has anyone figured this out? Ive changed virtually everything on my phone except the stock ugly text backround...

K ill try.. i dont mean the bubbles. Like the actual backround while your texting. How would i change that from the blueish it is to something else? And is there a way to change the Texting font color?

Ohhh, I see what your saying. Havent ever seen anyone change that. I've never even thought about it till you just said something. I'm gonna look into it cause now I wanna change mine

Hello, I believe if you created an image 320x480 and save it as SMSBackground.png to your main theme folder this should be the fix.

if your talking about what i think you are
i have it changed on my phone....

are you talking about the bluish colored bar that
the text input field lies on in the SMS app?

i have an image of my SMS app below,
im assuming your talking about the SMS app
when you say text background

Under your theme folder you copy over any .png file you want and then rename it SMSBackground.png. This will be placed in the same area as your dock, statusbar, and wallpaper png files. Hope that helps.

Yeah i did that. Nothing changes.. the permisson's are at 0755.

Edit!!! I was putting Backround, forgot the G oops hahahah. Im thanking you guys right now.. lol... what a noob!

LOL, its cool. I was a noob only a mere two weeks ago. Once I found this website and did a little trial and error, I figured out a boat load of stuff thanks to the info available here. This is the most helpful website I've ever seen.
