How to transfer download (Themes ) to iPhone 3G

I need assistance on how to download different themes from mymodi.com, I am new to this, my iPhone 3g got jailbroken and have cydia in it. I just wanted to download other cool and exciting themes, ringtones, applications in my iPhone 3g.

Anyone willing to HELP me???

If you have a pc or run windows in bootcamp you can use iThemeit to mix and match and send the themes to the phone with a single click.

BE SURE YOU INSTALL WINTERBOARD ON YOUR IPHONE FROM CYDIA.

If using a mac with leopard you could use cyberduck or at the very least you could just use whats loaded in the repo's and download em right on the phone.

search either on this site or youtube on "how to ssh", then simply drag your downloaded theme into the /library/themes/ folder, and select it in your phone through Winterboard. Or if SSH is too much for you I would get the program "iphonebrowser" (for windows)

This theme "Iron Man" is available in Cydia. That would make installing it through winterboard much easier.
Your iPhone must be jailbroken to apply themes as I am sure you realize.

hey der...i followed these steps but which file do i copy into the folder...i copied the entire folder which i downloaded from modmyi.com but the theme does not appear in winterboard...plzz help

Was just wondering if anyone can help me with an issue I am having. I downloaded a lockscreen that I wanted off of deviant art and am trying to put it on my iphone. I am using iphonebrowser and have used it in the past with my older gen iphone with no problems, but cant seem to do it with the newer gen.

I have an iphone 4 and when I try and copy or move the file to the folder in the iphonebrowser i keep getting a 'no sign' meaning I cant move it there. Can anyone offer some advice as to whats going wrong? The iphonebrowser does work with the iphone 4 right? I cant do it with anything...fonts, lockscreen, etc.

^ not sure if it has been updated for ip4 yet, perhaps someone will chime in and let us know.
I do know that WinScp works very well, requires you have open ssh installed from Cydia and wifi to connect.
Many many videos on You Tube on themeing and how to install them also using WinScp.

I tried using winscp as well. added all the information had openssh installed but it couldnt connect for some reason it kept giving me an error.

It is weird, sometimes it takes me 3 or more times to get it to load on my machine also.
I just keep trying and it will finally open. Not sure why that is.

I know it will work if set up correctly, I use it almost daily.

I follow all the steps for that and when it gets to step 15 you never see any message saying its connecting to the iphone its just blank and after a few seconds it says network error:connection timed out.

Close the app out and restart it again, it works for me, I get the same error.

Phone can't go to sleep, must keep your phone on and open.

idk for some reason it still doesnt work. doesnt get past step 15 no matter how many times i try.

doesnt even say searching for host or connecting or anything like that its just blank.

Are you using "alpine" as the password? have to in the beginning, then you cab change it.

Dang girl, I just don't know sorry, can you try a different computer?
I Get the same deal, it stalls, i quit the app, re-try a few times and it works.
Try deleting WinScp and installing it again. I am at a loss so sorry.
