Changing AppStore App Icons... sort of

Hey All,
I am struggling with blanking out my Epocrates Icon (appstore app). I switchout the Icon.png - and replace it with a transparent icon (with same Icon.png naming). When I respring - It hase a Black box where the icon should be. If I add any icon, it shrinks the icon and puts it inside the black box... does anyone know how to make the black box disappear? - Pic to follow:

riiiiight, only little kids use stock themes - they are all pretty much ugly or flamboyant(and not in a good way)

im having the same issue, still haven't figured it out - how about you?
