    Default Springboard Background Image Name
I've been changing icons and the dock image by FTPing them to my phone. That's worked great so far, but I'll be dammed if I can figure out which image to replace for the rest of the background.

Is there an solid black image that needs to be replaced?

If not, what should I name my image so that Springboard will display it?

Ive hunted through a bunch of threads and guides, but haven't been able to figure this out.

    Cheers

There is no "Single" image to place in the background. If you look through the forums more or even visited the downloads section you would have noticed that when people "skin" thier phone, they are using multiple images and altering the displayorder.plist in combo. If you want to create a skin you can use the skin creator our good MMi staff has created
