I was trying to make a skin for the iphone and have run into a problem when it comes to the mobilephone.app. What i want to do is change the color of the button highlight from blue to green. I can do this with the passcode lock, but can't seem to make any headway on the dialer within the phone app or in the settings menu when i'm setting a lock passcode. Do you know how to change it? I can't change the color of the "selected" buttons on the buttonbar at the bottom of this app either. i change the file and reup it, but the mobilephone.app doesn't seem to care. I've had no problems with the other apps, just this one...

I guess while I'm at it i'll go for gold... two other questions that have been bothering me that i can't find an answer to are how to change any highlight color (in settings for example when you select a menu, or in contacts when you select a contact and lastly how to change calendar events. I can change the colors easily when i have 2 calendars synced by changing the calendarcolor.plst. but when i have only one calendar, no changes seem to effect the boring blue. Thanks for any help you can provide.

An easier way to skin the mobile phone app would be to construct your theme in the Winterboard format. I'm not expert though - I downloaded chromium iPhone, glossy keypad, and a dialer; then I downloaded to my computer and opened them up to see how they worked. Try that w/ a dialpad and port your theme.

Or is that not your problem....?
