is it possible to change these, i cant seem to figure this out. I know where and have changed a lot fo other stuff but can someone tell me the locations or how to do this on dev team jb 1.1.3-3?

I dunno if this works with 1.1.3, but today I succeeded on modding my keypad dialer on my 1.1.2 otb phone.

Try exporting the MobilePhonePackedImages.artwork file with iphoneshop-0.4 and playing with the pngs in photoshop... Thats what i did and works great.
