iPod play icon?

Hey is it possible to change the play icon in the upper right hand corner of the iphone when the ipod app is playing? ive seen it different on other people's iphones

I have been wanting to find out the same thing? I saw one that looked like a pipe or something.

If you mean the Default Play.png, yes you can. It is located in the root/System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app directory. Hope this helps. BTW its size is 12x20

There are progs that convert apple png's to make then visible, are you on windows or mac?

what programs?? i have a bunch of icons that i was trying to make a theme with and they wouldnt work? they where .png and roughly the same size as the ones from other themes, when i go to "get info" on my mac the dimensions are the same, any ideas

If u installed photoshop on your comp, u should be able to view them and edit them as well. As a matter of fact its also the software that MOST people used to make themes and such. I'm using it as well to customize my iphone the way I want.

im on a mac and tried that png convert thingy that it says to do on hackthatphone.com and tried photoshop but no cigar it says it cant read it

Has anyone been able to track down any that are already made? It would be cool to add this as a Customize feature.

Looks like it maybe the FSO_Play.png located in root/System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app directory. (Thanks for the jump start iBlade) I tried to use a Nike swoosh,but didn't have the right dimensions came out way to big. Does anyone know the size?

I use the iPhonefixpng prog just to see what each png is for, and then you can just replace that with what you want. If what you want is to big just resize it. If you need help just load it up I fix it for you. Yes the size is 12x20, but I'm sure you can go wider just not higher. BTW I am on 1.1.1 sportsreyes1978 mentioned FSO_Play.png maybe the name can change from FW to FW.

Looks like I got it fellas. I used a Spade and it worked. iBlade I had to change both the FSO_Play.png & Default_Play.png. So, we both had a piece of the puzzle.
