where are the apps on 3g?

i was browsing the directory in the new iphone 3g, and found some old friends from my old iphone such as the springboard etc....

but where are the apps (applications) located at?
ie: i want to customize my weather screen (the look of it). also the calculator, sms bubbles, notepads....so many things i want to re-customize, but i can't find the apps (applications).

any help is much appreciated.

App Store apps are in var/mobile/Applications. The you have to search thrugh those folders to find the app you are looking for, as the folders are not named for the application.

Regular, stock apps are in Applications
