IF your phone is jailbroke you can use the app poof or in boss prefs and just check to hide any icon you want

Make it Mine, which can be downloaded in Cydia allows you to change the statusbar clock to whatever "text" you want.

Not sure what you guys keep talking about, he's talking about the clock/calendar on the lockscreen, not the homepage taskbar/clock whatever.

I've got the 2. FW and I did "erase" the Date on the lock screen.

If someone is interested I could explain how to.

Check the Photo of my lock screen.

How To : Hide CLock on the lock screen.

1)Dowload the file with the post(fr.rar)
    Unzip it. Now it's fr.plist.

2)Connect to your iphone/ipod touch via diskaid or via ssh.
    Go to //System//Library//Frameworks//UIKit.framework//DateFormats//

    3)Simply add fr.plist to //DateFormats//

4)Restart your device and you're done.

Note: To reset Date, juste delete fr.plist.

Do you know how to change the "slide to unlock" message and other system strings? I used to be able to do through customize but i haven't gotten that to launch in quite a while.

    Thanks,
