Remove Time & Date from Lockscreen
OK, I made this really, really easy.
In the attached zip you'll find a folder for each mod, with directions explaining what to do.
Keep this on your computer for future use.
(edit: added a separate .zip for the Transparent Lock Theme (this is for Winterboard, to remove the grey bars from the lockscreen behind the time and sliders)
Hit Thanks

Sorry, I should have specified -- the Transparent Lock Theme IS for Winterboard, the time and date mod is NOT.

[[[UPDATE!]]]
I found a mod on Cydia that does the exact same thing. It's called "Lockscreen Clock Hide".
It does everything we need it to do, and is completely reversible.Last edited by Jahooba; 11-16-2009 at 08:41 AM.

Hay guys i might be abit slow on this one but i was reading all this about the removal of the Clock and Date from the lockscreen, it all seemed abit long winded to me, SSH, backing up, swapping and renaming files, so this is what i did in just a few simple steps:-
1} Open Cydia,
2} Search for Lockscreen Clock Hide or find it in the ModMyi Source,
3} Install, Confirm, Restart Springboard,
4} Your Done !
just remove the Lockscreen Clock Hide from the Packages to restore it back
or open Settings find "Clock Hide" and there's some options you can turn on or off.
hope this helps
peace and respect to all.

Found another great mod on Cydia called "Slide to Unlock Killer."
It does just that: removes the annoying "slide to unlock" letters on the lockscreen.

Hey there, i know i am really behind but this did not work for me. Well it has one two of my themes, but not on this one i am working on now. i dont know what to do to get ride of it. the bottom bar will go away but the top bar is always there. If anyone can help me figure out why this particular theme wont work like it is supposed to, that would be great. Like i said, i made two other themes and it worked fine, the lockscreen is blank like i want it. I even copied and posted from those themes into this one, but the top bar is very persistant. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks again.
