LiL help with skinner

Been trying to separate this 320x480 background into to parts as you can see in this Screenshot I took. I know the dock Galaxy image needs to be shifted a few pixels to the right but the black line is really the confusing part. I cropped it out as 320x91




Was wondering if I am cropping the image wrong or something. I uploaded the basic PSD see if its me or someway anybody can help.

Why separate it? Why not just make it full 320x480, and uncheck the "Dock" box?

I chose a custom picture for the background and uploaded custom icons. I also unchecked the dock and had the picture as the whole background. It looked fine on the site, but when I uploaded it to my phone the dock section and top portion of the picture is slightly off.

Even though I chose the picture as my full background with no dock for whatever reason its like the background was split right where the dock would normally start and it's shifted a slight bit to the right. Any idea what the cause might be?
