Hope you know anything 'bout this: My question is, if it is possible to have the battery indicator (icon) also when you are not charging? It is the battery icon you see when you¨ve locked and plugged your iPod to the computer I'm talking bout.

that "icon" you see is actually a set of images.
the battery images are numbered from like 1- 17 or something. basically its a graphic that gets loaded. if you wanted to make a lockscreen or a bg that had that icon you could just make it. it won't be an accurate display of your battery power however, which is what i'm assuming you're actually looking for.

it would be interesting to see if possible however. i mean with WinterBoard now supporting HTML and motion backgrounds, i'm wondering if this is possible.

does this mean, that the battery indicator I see when I am charging not is accurate?

There must be some information (file), that change the pictures. (I did knew about "the 17 pictures). Is there anybody who knows what files gets activated when you plug your iphone/touch to the computer.
