I have the same problem on my iPhone 2g. I have downloaded and installed a keyboard from Cydia and it works fine but if I try to download it from customize it will show up blurry.

There are two keyboard artwork files which need to be installed, and they need to be called Keyboard-Latin.artwork and Keyboard-Common.artwork

If you call them anything else, like above, you'll get garbage (like above).

Oh, and can you tell baby to bring me the lunch instead?

How would you rename the file if you selected the artwork file through customize? I went through SSH and the files are still named Keyboard-Common.artwork and Keyboard-Latin.artwork in the "system/library/frameworks/UlKit.framework" folder.

I know the file artworks changed because the file size of these two files changed before and after the artwork skin update.

Right now I'm assuming you can't change the keyboard skin through Customize 2.1.

I installed a keyboard artwork using Cydia, but when I wanted to change it I could not. I ended up having to restore my iphone.

Cydia properly applies and renames the keyboard artwork files. From the appearance of the screenshots, Customize is installing KeyboardMacAir-1.artwork, which will simply not do. You could manually rename the file by SSHing into the customize folders which contain the keyboard files, but something else is missing aswell, the second keyboard.artwork file. Why isn't it installing two?

Personally I don't use Customize so I can't answer these questions. I can only say why it doesn't work.
