yea i want to know where to put my ballon files in cuz i got 2 and i have no idea where to place it in

The color of the SMS balloons resides in the same directory as the SMS Application. The files are named Balloon_1.png and Balloon_2.png.
Balloon_1.png is the color of YOUR text and Balloon_2.png is the color of the INCOMING text.
cd /Applications/MobileSMS.app
putfile Balloon_1.png
putfile Balloon_1.png

Attached are the two colors I use and I'm sure there are more out there.

I havn't tried it, but you could open up each ballon in photoshop and change the opacity to 100% so that it can't be seen.

I use WinSCP to SSH copy the png files from my iPhone but I cannot view them! When I try to open them in photoshop, it says it cannot parse the file.

Am I doing something wrong?

I believe you have to use a program (fixpng) to make the .png files from the iphone viewable. try doing a search on here or on google. you should be able ti find it.

Thanks to mzkaye729. I've found the program called fixpng. It didn't come up easily searched on google so I will post the link to the program here.

It fixes the PNG files copied from your iPhone to your PC, making the PNG files readable on your PC.

im avin trouble changing my balloons, i plug my iphone in and open the iphone browser, no options came up down the left side so i opened 'go to location' and went to 'icon and sms' and an error came up saying that it was not possible to open location have you carried out a sucssful jailbreak?

why is it saying this i have jaibroken my iphone?!
