Transparent Slider on Customize 2.0

I downloaded the new customize on my iphone 3g and I was wondering if you could put the transparent slider on it using the same directions given in this link:

It keeps saying there is an error connecting to the server whenever I open Customize. If this error comes up, I can't log onto customize using SSH, right?

I was looking through them but couldnt find the answer. can u post a link to a previous thread that has the answer to this?

Easiest way to have a transparent slider is SSH into the phone and just replace the original file, wherever it is, with a transparet slider version of the file.

I don't bother with customize as it has been buggy since 1.1.3 days....I just replace the original file with a modded one via SSH or iphonebrowser.
