So I have been having lots of problems with the 2.0 firmware. I have found that most every aspect that I have tried to tweak has eventually worked. However, during that process, all of my app store apps become inopperable. For most apps, it is no problem to just reinstall them, but for apps that store data such as lists or financial tracking, they lose all of their saved data. Still, I plug away. As for Customize 2.1.1. I had it working beautifully with an SSH installed app after running chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize_ ... until I applied a backup of a theme I had customized on 1.1.4 and customize 2.0. Unfortunately, my theme included an other.artwork file and keyboard.artwork files. Not only did my app store apps stop working, but my screen looked like this.
The keyboard snapshot doesn't do it justice. It was blinking all over the place and completely unusable. In addition to my app store apps not working, somehow, boss prefs had become locked. Therefore I couldn't open customize and undo what I had done. I had to go to work, so I couldn't do anything to it until about half an hour ago. I tried reinstalling boss prefs. No go. Then I read customize was on cydia. After installing customize from there (with no additional terminal code) it appeared on the desktop and i could revert back to the original backup which left me with my springrolled setup.
Boss Prefs works again, but my app store apps still don't work. I'm going to try some things before I delete them. I know this isn't the right forum for this, but does anyone know how to unlock them or at the least, which files might contain data for pocket money or my lists. (yeah, longshot, i know...)
