I get an error telling me that it cannot reach the server and that i might have slow internet or no connection at all..

Which is weird because i do have internet and it is now slow at all. So i can't access any themes...

summerboard lets you change the wallpaper on your springboard so you can have something behind your icons. and it works together with customize as well

si what's the purpose of the change wallpaper on customize if i need to use summerboard? i mean first i need to set a theme via summerboard then edit it with customize ryt so how can i change my wallpaper (not the lockscreen) into the one i want for example i want a customize wallpaper a picture of me can someon post a guide

Do a search on the forum for "lockwallpaper.png" delete that file using SSH then you are good to go.

Actually should be
/User/Library/LockBackground.jpg

Or technically
/private/var/mobile/Library/LockBackground.jpg

Delete that file and you'll be able to assign backgrounds again. Pissed me off, too.

i manged to get around moddin my phone without customize, if yall really wanna do it just search and ssh everything into your phone, its simpler than it sounds and all u gotta do it back up ur old files

I cant get it working and its driving me nuts! Everytime i try to launch customize i get the initial screen then it just crashes and goes back to home screen. I downloaded through cydia---i tried fixing permissions to 755 on all the customize files but still same thing.

I have even restored the firmware and tried again and still no luck! any suggestions?

BTW...at one point i was getting the app to load, but would get an error about offline mode--the files needed to go online cant get access or something (i shoulda wrote it down but now i cant even get the app to stay up).

People still use this Customize? This app is dead! Spicey Chicken moved on so should you!
