Yes, email me the files and i'll take a look. I'll PM my address.
when you use the program instead of command prompt it saves the files as other-extract-###. i Ran into the same problem and i figured out that it HAS to be named other-### or else you will get that error when you try to rebuild the .artwork file through command prompt.

Do you guys know what number the home screen background is? The all black one? I changed Other-5 and Other-6 and apparently those are not them. Was wondering if one of you all knew which one to change.

If you're on Vista, it's in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Python\Pyt honCore\2.5\ . I couldn't actually get this process to work in Vista (had to switch to XP)

when yoiu installed python there is a radio box that says all users or just this user
Click the image to open in full size.
you prob selected the only this user
uhm, for the most part this should not effect anything, just follow the steps and it should work jsut fine, but if it does not, just simply uninstall and reinstall and you should have it. should look something like this (please ignore the bad mspaint editing hehehe)

out of all the files in your img folder, is there a PIL.Image file? i know it sounds like a dumb question, but check it out, that could be what is messing everything up.

I am having the same problem, i thought those were what i needed to change, but there apparently is something else. once i find it out i will let you know, and if you find out, you should let me know i am also trying to add my own wallpaper, but when i try to get the wallpaper that is in the root/library/wallpaper directory it never lets me preview it to see the size taht it needs to be or anything T_T is there a better way to do this that anyone knows of? all the wallpaper tutorials that i find are for video wallpapers and stuff that is not available for the 2.0 framework T_T

Regards,
Strider

With Mac OS-X 10.4.11 installed, I followed secure your installation guide and got an error after typing: sudo /opt/local/bin/port install py25-pil:

I saw other users above with the same error....

I am sure I did not make a mistake.

On my Powerbook with Mac OS-X 10.5.4, X11, X11SDK, XcodeTools installed, I have retried your Manual and everything goes fine! During installing of py25-pil with MacPorts I got two errors type 1, but there was no effect on the artwork files I changed succesfully. I have changed the other three artwork files too, without any problems!

For anyone having problems or wish to use java version, I updated iphoneshop 0.8 to 1.0 supporting artwork files from firmware 1.0.2 to 2.0.0.
Just search iphoneshop 1.0 by massimo23
