Hey guys is there a way for me to remove the Iphone Dev Team pineapple from the boot screen? I would like to replace it with the original logo (which i have) but when i replace the applelogo.png i only see it when the pineapple is minimizing.. any help would be appreciated.

You must create a new custom firmware and load the png files in pwnage or winpwn. Then you have to restore your phone again using this file.

Okay wow create a new firmware.. i have no idea where to even begin.. could you point me in the right direction...

Not worth it if you ask me. Wait until the next upgrade and have your boot logo ready. Then, go through the process at that point. Otherwise, you could mess up your iphone just for a boot logo.

I'm happy with the logo right now myself....

I'm happy with the logo right now myself....

I iPWNed my 3G 5 times just to check different logo's out... you'll be fine, just follow directions...

not when you use winpwn to create a custom firmware. the boot image is the stock apple logo.

Just click on the DL section when asked if you want to change the image... added the "Think Linux" one on my friends iPhone
