Wi-Fi icon larger than 20x20 possible?

Figured since I was already working on a theme for my phone, I might as well do up a signal and wi-fi icon.

Is it possible to go past the default 20x20 pixel limit for the Signal and Wi-Fi icons into, say.. 60x20?

Trying to work with something like this at 60x20:

Instead, it's only showing the first 20x20:
