Thread: Icon Opacity

    Default Icon Opacity
So I tried putting icons in my dock (the area overlying the springboard), but seeing as how some of them are a little small, they end up having this black outline around them. How do I set it so that the opacity of the background is transparent? I looked in ifuntastic, but it only lets me change color, not opacity. Any suggestions?

If you have photoshop, open up the file and make a copy of the background layer, then either manually erase everything around the icon or use the selection tool if there's high contrast between background and icon.

Once you have everything except the icon deleted, either delete the background layer or make it invisible (if you haven't already) and save the file as whatever.png. Everything but the icon should be invisible now.
