A crazy one i ve allways thought about

Make the Icon Jump or move & do a 360 ** when u touch them ( i know a bit extreme !) lol.. i have seen it done on windows mobile device

Or a short vibrate when icon is touched, also possible when typing to have a vibrate feedback
