Ok I'm resurrecting this because you sir, are awesome at what you do.

I'd love to see a true jet-black version of the OS X Leopard dock. I know someone already did one, but, not to be mean, all he did was change the surrounding color to black, not the dock.

Here's where I first got the dock and did that blue to black change myself.
But gosh darn it, the dock itself being slightly blue is getting to me lol.

I would like a dock that is a steel grate but that is not the whole dock. I want it to just go to about 1/3 or 1/4 of the dock size and be transparent for the rest. I don't have a picture to show you what I mean but I would be appreciative of anything you could concoct Oh, and I want it to go off into the distance and look 3D, but I don't want an area for the text to go. Lol sorry if that sounds demanding.

From your descriptions you both kinda want the same thing but with diffrent textures. So i made manupodinvictus's because he had a picture. It has a 3d effect though so if you jtrwallace could tell me kinda what to change on that one and ill try to get one up for you. As for a picture of my phone... let me find my camera.

You can just rightclick and save picture as. You going to have to rename it though. If these dont look good just let me know man..

Dude, perfect. Just gonna edit it so the background is black. I'm not using a background right now so that's the only reason why. But I'm saving the original for when I go back to the OS X style background anyway.

Crap... I screwed up. Wasn't thinking ahead on this one lol Jet black dock on a jet black background doesn't work too well.

If you have time tonight could you try a silver and white version? Or whatever you think would work best. Sorry my fault here.

Edit: OR... maybe you know how to get the OS X background to work with the dock so that there's no black line in between. That would solve everything at once.

Edit 2: For example, this is the theme I was going to use Here but when I unzip the files some stuff doesn't extract so I think that's why when I put the ipb on the phone, there's a black line.

Kinda like what you walk over on the sidewalk or something. However, I would also like the blue removed. I would like that part transparent.

ok jt i took the orginal dock which had that gratish look to it and made it 3dish. Look good? As for you manu give me another 5 mins.

Ok this will be great. But any ideas on the black line issue? I got the files to extract properly, but it doesn't seem to be the issue. Still get a black line in between what I understand is the icon.png and the SBDockBG2.png

Heck, I even tried adding a few pixels of color to both to see if I could match them up. No such luck.
