Guys,

I would like to edit those files that show up in the call status screen, so I saved them as png's using iPhonebrowser.exe but I can't open them in windows paint, do I have to use photoshop or something?

tommy, you can use MSpaint to open a .PNG
once you have unpacked them you can alter them, but you have to repack them and replace the file.

from what i read, it looks like you have done what i can't- Tom, you mind describing the commands to me, if you read my above post, you will see where im at.

WINDOWS USERS
Step 1)
Download this file:
http://www.mediafire.com/?7pjcbm8bedy

Step 2)
After the download is done you can extract the archive by using winrar or your preferred rar decompressor.

Step 3)
Extract the folder from the rar.
You should have a directory named fixpngWindows in front of you.

Step 4)
Copy and paste the files you would like to convert into the "png" subdirectory.

Step 5)
Now simply run iPhoneFixPng.exe and press convert

If all went well your new, readable, png's should be in the "fixed" subdirectory!

cd (the listing for your artwork file here)
so, for example, i would type cd CUsers\silencer\Desktop\artwork cause thats where my artwork folder is. to find this directory, just look at the address bar in explorer. Hit enter in Command Prompt when you finish, and the directory listing should change.

if everythings where it should be, now copy and paste this line into your command prompt:

java -jar iPhoneShop-0.6.jar ARTWORK MobilePhonePackedImages.artwork export pngs

If everything is where it should be, your Command prompt should start scrolling through a lot of lines. In the end, if you did everything ok, it should say something like the exported pngs are located in the appropriate directory.

Now in explorer, go into your pngs file. If everything worked, you should see A Lot of pngs images in there.

When you have changed these images to your satisfaction, save them and make sure they are all still located in your pngs file with everything else. Now, back in your command prompt, make sure your still pointing at the artwork file, and copy and paste this in and press enter:

java -jar iPhoneShop-0.6.jar ARTWORK MobilePhonePackedImages.artwork import pngs

If you did this correctly, things should start scrolling again and whatnot. If it says import successful or whatever, you did it right. Now look into your pngs folder, you should see a NEW MobilePhonePackedImages.artwork

I haven't done any of those images. Just the 1 pixel wide images that get stretched. Maybe I'll do some of them this week. Don't you love how for that 1 little pop up thing there a 5 different images. WTF Apple? I bet you want those buttons found too so you can match them to your background.

This may help if finding them. I think they are 1 pixel wide because they range in different sizes depending on where the pin is located on the screen.

as I find new ones that are not listed on your list do you want me to add a reply or tell you which ones they are so you can add them to your 1st post?

Oh, and thanks for your recent help.
