using mac finder to upload?

so i have been trying to download batter images and carrier logos and load them to my iphone

unfortunately it isnt working at all

i have mac osx 10.5.3 and i can connect to my iphone software viz the finder

every tutorial uses some program that is very hard to figure out...

has anyone else successully loaded themes/ files to their iphone through there finder?

yes. install afp on your iphone (and the bossprefs afp control if you want.) then you can connect to your iphone via the "Go" menu. Select "Connect to Server..." and enter your phones ip address.

I used to use this method, but now I use ssh and Transmit. Transferring files through afp leaves a lot of invisible files on your iphone.

Very true, and alot of unnecessary files that just take up space. There is a prefs pane however called BlueHarvest, which will remove all Apple sediment such as .ds_store and .trash files from any removal HD, upon ejection.

It's a big help.
