what i do is use iThemeit, » iThemeit Home Page , to create a theme with mixed wallpapers and icons... i make a wallpaper 320x480 use ithemeit and put what ever icons i want with it and upload it to my summerboard themes folder using winscp...hope this helps

just ssh in and swap out the wallpaper

make a picture that is 320 x 480 name it Wallpaper.png (top lower case sensitive)

ssh into:
/private/var/mobile/Library/Summerboard/Themes/...(yourtheme)

here should be following:

Folder (Icons)
.png (Wallpaper...Dock,Statusbar)

only the images include can changwe the looks... if Statusbar Dochk or WALLPAPER are not in this folder they will not change...
Just overwrite the Wallpaper.png or add it if it is not htere yet
