Taken from another board...I haven't tried it so try it at your own risk.

I got it working anyway... install repo.ispazio.net as a source and use their 1.1.4 Summerboard Install Patch.

How do I get this to work for my 1.1.4 unlocked and jailbroken iPhone? Both ibrickr and iPhoneBrowser can't detect the phone as being jailbroken, but yet I've already added quite a few applications and obviously have Installer on it.

I've browsed through the forum and found a solution to my problem. My 1.1.4 iPhone wasn't being recognized as jailbroken in iPhoneBrowser, so you first have to:

    1) Add the i.unlock.no source and install the Ziphone Ibrickr fix.

    2) Restart your iphone and iphone browser will now recognize your iphone as fully jailbroken.

Thanks to xenphan for this. Once you've done that, it's smooth sailing from there.

how about installing sounds? I am now using a custom theme with a sound pack, replaced the .caf files, but I still hear the standart audio, no change has been applied.

    any ideas?

This worked great for me until iphone browser didn't recognize the iphone as jailbroken. I'm going to try bahgger's method hope that helps. I also have another issue. When i use summerboard on my iphone, i dont get the options to change the dock or change the wallpaper. I get an "advanced" tab for changing things on summerboard which doesn't show up on all the screenshots iv seen of it. Thanks

    Hi there!
I have a little problem with Summerboard.
I have 2 folders of summerboard in my iPhone:
    1. /private/var/mobile/Library/Summerboard/Themes
    and
    2. /private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes

I have copied some themes in the first folder, using Cyberduck or Fugu (for mac).
The problem is that some icons (eg weather) don't change. I have noticed that in some themes there is no "Icons" folder.
Is there another place where I should put the "Icons" folder of the Theme I want to use?
Is there some other way that those icons work?

    Thank you!

I am using a Macintosh Macbook Pro, your instructions apply to one using Microsoft Windwos, correct? I cannot figure out how to get SummerBoard Themes from my desktop on my Mac installed on my iPhone, do you have any insight?
