iPhone's iPod backgrounds and such changing

ok, i wanted to give my phone a complete vista look so i started at the iphones ipod, getting all the colors and stuff from WMP11, i made the defaults in the MobileMediaPlayer.app look like i want them but they appear for a second and then go back, anyone know what im doing wrong
