why is it, when i edit my other.artwork file and try to add your 171.img to my other.artwork and try to re import it, it says "warning, invalid file" during the import? whats weird is when i try to upload it anyway it does work, but it destroys a lot of other parts of my phone lol
damnit.1.1.1>1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2>3.1>3.1.2 blackra1n'd

Hey Smirkis
Make sure the file is a png (obvious) or you can take your 171.png and make transparency 0% in photoshop. Let me know what your think.
Kevin
Hey tugodumchik
What I did was make those images that you requested transparent. Give me a bit and I will PM you with a fix.
Kevin
Hey Aspect
upload desired font to /System/Library/Fonts/Cache replacing the original LockClock.ttf font. Please note that you can’t simply replace the lock screen’s font with any font of your choice as the font needs to be specially prepared before replacing the original font.

Thanks. Can you please trll me - how you do it in photoshop - I've tried but the files are gettinh bigger in size (from 400byte-4kb) and when I import them back in artwork file - and than export back just to check - the files stay the same - like I didn't do anything with them.

hey! i need a hand if anyone can help. im trying to make my background behind the clock similar to the slide to unlock background in this image:

I tried editing the 171.png file (making the width 320px hoping it wouldn't stretch) but nothing has changed
any tips?
(i know making the clock background white-ish is going to make the clock text very difficult to read...im working on it
...just need to get over this hurdle first
)
EDIT: i know why the damned thing isnt changing...im packing the artwork file and for some reason, the original 171.png file is there, and my edited version isnt? any clues?
EDIT2: It was the resize that was causing all the problems! anyone know how to get around this? for now i've got this

Where do you get different "slide to unlock" backgrounds? That white/gray one is nice.

u dont need to extract the artwork anymore, winterboard is here, u can do it by making a blank png of 1x96 pxls with the file name UILCDBackground.png and putting it in UIImages folder and that into ur theme folder.
so it should look like this
library/themes/(ur theme)/UIImages/UILCDBackground.png
end result, transparent image behind the clock on lock screen.

Thanks! I was trying UITintedTopBarHighlight.png and UITintedTopBarHighlightTall.png, but don't know what I changed it wasn't what I wanted
Now my question is, what is the name for the same image but the one behind the mini ipod controls when you double tap the home button? The original image is 1x156 pxls.
